LADY GAGA SPENDS $470,000 ON A PIANO!!

Lady Gaga has reportedly purchased the piano that she used for her collaboration with Sir Elton John at The Grammy Awards!!

She is said to have paid $470,000 for the instrument, which was designed by Canadian artist, Terence Koh - A source says...

"Terence's artwork is confrontational and incorporates many elements that appeal to GaGa such as sex, punk and gay culture. The black piano with arms reaching out of it was beautiful and it's no surprise she wants it, especially after giving one of the performances of her career."

Right after the show, Lady Gaga told the press,

"I'm just so happy, I can't say enough and Elton was so amazing and the performance was really truly magical. I had been fantasizing about this performance piece for a while and we got to do it, and I'm just really truly floored. I ruined all of my make-up right before the show crying, I was just so happy."

Awww... She is expected to collaborate with Sir Elton again at a charity bash in New York next week!!

WHY LEROI MOORE WAS LEFT OUT...

LeRoi Moore, the 12-time nominated and 1-time Grammy winner, who was a founding member of my favourite group, The Dave Matthews Band, who also passed away a few months ago was shockingly forgotten by the Grammy’s memorial tribute a few days ago. There have been sooooo many upset fans because of this, and FINALLY this morning the Academy released a statement about why he was LEFT OUT:

"Nearly 250 members of our music community have passed in the last year, and all of them have been listed in the program book for the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards, including LeRoi Moore. For the "Encore" segment of our annual GRAMMY Awards telecast, unfortunately we are unable to include all of the talented and wonderful people within the allotted timeframe. The Academy recognizes Moore's contributions to music and music education, and we are deeply saddened by his premature passing."

Urgh - This just makes me more angry... They should have included him!!

Last night was the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards which were held at The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The annual awards show brought out A LOT of hotties, and above are some of my favourites which include: Marisa Miller, Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Kate Beckinsale, Audrina Patridge, Brooke Hogan, Leona Lewis, and Kimberly Caldwell.

CHRIS BROWN LIKES TO BEAT WOMEN UP?!

 

There's a reason why Rihanna and Chris Brown were NOT at the Grammy's last night - Chris Brown was being investigated for allegedly assaulting Rihanna a woman in a limo after the Clive Davis pre-Grammys tribute event on Saturday night.

Later last night, during the Grammy show, police arrested Chris - He then posted $50,000 bail and was released.

UPDATE: Police reports show that Robyn Fenty aka Rihanna is the alleged victim in the case and the allegation is that she was assaulted with a deadly weapon!! WOW - What were you thinkin' Chris?!

AND THE GRAMMY GOES TO...

The 51st Grammy Awards were last night and the big winner was Led Zeppelin's 60-year-old, Robert Plant and 37-year-old, Alison Krauss - The two went home with 5 awards, including album of the year & record of the year!! 

Lil Wayne was next with four wins, while Coldplay nabbed three trophies.

Congrats to all the winners!!

John Mayer and B.B. King performed last night during The GRAMMY Nominations Concert inside the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California... All I gotta say is, B.B. King is THE MAN!!

With more nominations than anyone, Lil Wayne scored eight noms, followed by Coldplay with seven, and Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West each got six... Despite having one of the biggest worldwide hits of the year, Katy Perry was shut out of all categories except Best Female Pop Vocal Performance - Oh well :(

TALK ABOUT AWKWARD...

Avril Lavigne's husband, Deryck Whibley was put on the spot a little bit last night while doing an interview with Pugs & Kelly at the Grammy Awards.... First it was facing questioning about his prior relationship with Paris Hilton, then it was Kelly’s question, “Do you plan on being married for the next 50 years?” then it was whether or not Avril’s a good cook.... Ouch, tough questions.. very awkward!!

JUST WASN'T FEIST'S NIGHT...

Miss Leslie Feist... Wow!!... Speechless!!... I told you so?? She really embarassed herself last night...

I'll admit, it took some guts to present 1,2,3,4 to the Grammy audience last night as an acoustic set... but the performance fell flat because her voice didn't project well and she appeared quite stiff and unnatural on stage in front of everyone... Maybe it was because she went 0-4 in all her nominations before she performed... or maybe she's just isn't ready for that "major global spotlight" yet... Hmmm... See  for yourself below...
