Dr. Drew apologized to Lindsay yesterday at The MTV Movie Awards for the comments he made about how she should be framed, jailed and sent to rehab for her public battle with booze and drugs...

"Look, I hope you are okay. I don't know you. If I can help, but I would be happy to. I hope I have not caused you any distress... That is not my intention. You seem to be fine right now and I hope you continue to do well."

MTV CUTTING BACK ON JERSEY SHORE CAST APPEARANCES!!

Everywhere you look, one of the cast members of Jersey Shore is making an appearance for girls money!!

The guidos & guidettes have been making upwards of $7500 at venues across the country to do NOTHING but show-up - One crazy fan even offered Pauly D $25,000 to walk her down the aisle at her wedding!!

But MTV has had enough... The network has reportedly ordered the cast to stop making personal appearances ASAP.

"MTV has told the Jersey Shore crew they can only do two personal appearances a week, and that all of their gigs have to be approved by producers. They've threatened the cast that they will be fined if they flout the rules, but some don't care and are blatantly going ahead to earn as much cash as they possibly can."

MTV DROPS MUSIC TELEVISION!!

MTV has dropped "Music Television" from its logo!!

For the first time in the network's 29-year history, MTV has decided to give the channel's iconic logo a face-lift...

"The people who watch it today, they don't refer to MTV as music television. They don't have the same emotional connection that, say, the people who are writing about [the logo change] do."

It's true... Does MTV even play music videos anymore?!

PEAK SEASON IS TAKING OVER THE WORLD!!

MTV Canada announced today that it is bringing the original Canadian reality documentary series, Peak Season, to the rest of the world!!

The series begins airing on VH1 in the USA February 14th, and debuts on more than 20 MTV Networks channels around the world this spring - Last fall, the show was an instant hit in Canada, becoming the highest-rated series premiere ever for any program on MTV.

Jersey Shore star Nicole Polizzi aka Snooki says her new MTV reality show is better than The Hills!!

"We are better than The Hills... It is all real."

Jenni Farley aka J-WOWW (what the f**k is with these nicknames) added...

"We are not fake; we don't try to present ourselves like we are fake. We don't try to put ourselves in front of the cameras with the hair and the makeup. We tell everyone how we feel. We don't say anything behind their backs."

In its second week, the show's ratings were up 50 percent, bringing in 2.1 million viewers. I still have NOT watched... Both shows seem stupid to me!!

JERSEY SHORE IS REALLY PISSING THE ITALIANS OFF!!

After last night's debut episode of the new MTV reality show, Jersey Shore, the UNICO National (the largest Italian-American service organization in the USA) is pissed!!

A rep. for the organization says,

"We can't keep up with the volume of calls from outraged Italian Americans. I suffered through all 120 mins of that show and it was worse than I imagined. Italian Americans are OUTRAGED and they are helping us reach out to sponsors to ask them to stop advertising with MTV until they agree to pull Jersey Shore."

UPDATE: Domino’s Pizza has pulled their ads from all future broadcasts of Jersey Shore!! A rep. for the pizza chain says, “The content of this particular program is not right for Domino’s Pizza.”

Everybody has been waiting to hear Beyonce's thoughts on the whole Kanye West / Taylor Swift thingy from a few weeks ago - Earlier today she finally spoke about it...

"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award. And when they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!' But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment - and I didn't have to make an acceptance speech."

A little late, but glad she's finally talking!!

JAY-Z DEFENDS KANYE WEST...

Everyone is after Kanye West... Everyone except Beyonce's hubby, Jay-Z!!

In an interview with BBC Radio, Jay-Z told them he thinks the situation has been blown out of proportion,

"It's an awards show. He's just a superpassionate person. Of course it was rude, because it was her moment, but that's the way he really felt. I think it was rude, but the way they're treating him… He's on the cover of every paper. He didn't kill anybody. No one got harmed. I think it's a bit blown out. It was pretty rude. At the end of the day, we're gonna celebrate him for his passion more than vilify him. As he grows and matures, he has to balance that. I don't think he should lay low. I think he should move on and have a brilliant career."

A suicide prevention interest group has slammed Lady Gaga’s performance at The 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards for sending out an “irresponsible” message to young fans.

The group, PAPYRUS, which aims to prevent suicide among young people and promote wellness says,

“This act is not cool – sensationalizing and romanticizing suicide is irresponsible. Celebrities, who are often idolized by young people, need to be more aware of the impact that such acts can have on vulnerable young people.”

To be honest, I just thought it was VERY weird - How about you?!

Minutes after Taylor Swift's visit to The View, the country singer got a much deserved phone call from Kanye West where he finally apologized DIRECTLY to her!! Reps. for The View say,

“After the show he spoke personally to the country music superstar via telephone and has apologized to the 19-year-old singer. She has accepted Mr. West’s apology. The contents of the phone call are to remain private.”

Why didn't he think of this before?!

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA CALLS KANYE WEST A JACKASS!!

During an interview yesterday, President Obama called Kanye West a "jackass" over his behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards - His remark was made off-camera to ABC News reporter Terry Moran, who then tweeted the comment for the world to see!! 

"Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential"

ABC has since apoligized for Moran's journalistic breach.

It's definitely been an interesting night. I don't know him, and I've never met him, so… I don't want to start anything because I had a great night tonight."

AN OPEN LETTER TO KANYE WEST FROM KELLY CLARKSON...

Dear Kanye,

What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like shit. I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you. The best part of this evening is that you weren’t even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??

I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her…so why can’t you be?? I’m not even mad at you for being an asshole…I just pity you because you’re a sad human being.

On a side note, Beyonce has always been a class act and proved again tonight that she still is. Go TEXAS!!

THE 2009 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS HIGHLIGHTS...

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards earlier tonight were 100% shocking!!

The awards started off AMAZING with Janet Jackson and Madonna paying tribute to the late Michael Jackson - As host, Russell Brand said, "Tonight is all about celebrating love together!"

Boy, did things turn awkward and weird after that...

Taylor Swift won her first VMA Award and in the middle of her acceptance speech, Kanye West ran on stage and took the microphone away from her and told the audience that Beyonce should have won - Poor Taylor was left shocked and in tears!!

Then, Lady Gaga got up on-stage and poured fake blood on herself and then HUNG from the ceiling - WTF (see picture above)?! She then changed into a view MORE strange outfits...

Overall, the awards were fun to watch, but I def. felt speechless at times, and couldn't stop laughing everytime someone said Kanye West's name and the audience would start to boo - He even had to be escorted out of the building because nobody wanted him there after!!

The awards ended with Beyonce winning for Video of the Year and bringing Taylor Swift back on stage to thank everyone - The perfect way to end the show!!

However, I'm sure there will be tonz of drama tomorrow... Only on MTV!!
