Last night I attended The 2010 CHUM FanFest Concert during Canadian Music Week at The Masonic Temple in Toronto!!

THE 2009 CHUM RADIO FANFEST CONCERT!!

Last night was the 2009 CHUM Radio Fanfest Concert at The Masonic Temple in Toronto in celebration of Canadian Music Week... Luckily, I got to hang out in the VIP area above the stage with Gene Simmons and the rest of the music acts such as: Our Lady Peace, Katy Perry, Serena Ryder, Eva Avila, Plain White T's, Lights and Divine Brown!!

It was an amazing show, and showed that Canada's def. has A LOT of AMAZING upcoming acts that are on the same level as the rest of the world!!

It's been a question that has been a mystery to thousands of people each day - What sound does a turtle make??

Well, earlier today I caught up with Lights, Kreesha Turner, Anvil, Di'Ja and Jaydee Bixby to find out what sound they think a turtle makes - Watch the whole video to find out the answer at the end!!

So during the Canadian Radio Music Awards, I had a little run-in with Canadian singer, Suzie McNeil.

She WOULD NOT take photos with me (again), or do an interview because of THIS POST and THIS POST I blogged about her a while back. However, our conversation leading up to the rejection was too funny not to post:

Zack Taylor: "Hey Suzie!!"

Suzie McNeil: "You're a f**king a**hole!!"

ZT: "Don't be upset - Bad PR is still PR... Should be happy I wrote about you."

SM: "Not when you do your best and people make fun of you. Sorry but I'll have to decline this interview request."

After the conversation above, Suzie walked away from me and started giving me "dirty looks" with her friends for the rest of the afternoon during all my OTHER interviews...

Awwww... How sweet eh?!

CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK 2009!!

Last year's Canadian Music Week was crazy & wild - So obviously myself, Zack Taylor and the rest of the team over here at ZackTaylor.ca are coming back to showcase some of Canada's biggest and upcoming talents during CMW 2009!!

The festival started a couple days ago, but the big music showcases begin today, and ZackTaylor.ca will have live coverage/interviews from The 2009 Canadian Radio Music Awards and The CHUM Radio Fanfest Concert which features performances by: Katy Perry, Our Lady Peace, Eva Avila, Lights, Serena Ryder and The Plain White T’s.

If you don't remember her, she was on Canadian Idol back when Brian won...

The biggest treat today was hangin' out with Alanis Morissette and legendary producer/songwriter, Glen Ballard...

Alanis was in Toronto to accept her Canadian Music Hall of Fame Induction Award as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award... Gotta love her and everything she's done for Canadian music!!

Now if only she could find a decent guy!! 

SUZIE MCNEIL IS A BIG BABY!!

Poor baby... Canadian singer, Suzie McNeil performed her heart out on stage at the awards show earlier today, but didn't walk home with ANY AWARDS!! I can do nothing but laugh...

 

She really needs to get rid of that stupid purple hair!!
