ZackTaylor.ca can exclusively report that Discovery Communications Inc. (which owns The Discovery Channel) has put in an offer of $1 million to The Heene Family to create a show "that focuses on scientific family projects that you can do yourself at home".
An insider at the network tells us that the deal was sent over to the family earlier today and that the network is very interested in showcasing this family and their science projects despite whether or not yesterday was a hoax.
No word yet if the family will sign the deal!!
UPDATE 1: The TLC Network says that the Heene family approached the network months ago with a reality show idea, but that the network passed. The insider we spoke to earlier at Discovery Communications Inc. says they have not heard back from the family yet on their offer to bring them to The Discovery Channel.
UPDATE 2: Discovery Communications Inc. has not heard back from the family on its initial offer and with the most recent facts coming forward proving that the situation was a hoax have decided to withdraw its offer to The Heene Family.

Unbelievable. I hope they all die in a tornado for pulling this stunt in order to get a tv contract!

Please don't put this media mongering family on a show. The stunt yesterday was awful and the kids act awful, the family is not interesting. It would be another freak show. These parents are not role models and the father thinks that he was visited by aliens and they told him they were his parents. Total wack jobs.
Have a little class Disney! UGH!

Seriously, DHC has lost its damn mind if it puts this family on TV! The Dad don't want to work, and he is weird. They Mom is silly as shit! They set this up and made themselves look like total idiots!
