ZackTaylor.ca sources tell us that Canadian singer, Avril Lavigne is in the middle of recording her new album (due out around November) and she's getting help from legendary guitarist Slash!!
Avril, who will be featured on Lil Wayne's seventh studio album Rebirth in August is hoping to show her fans she's still "got it" by recording a pure rock album!!
This should be interesting...
UPDATE 1: Representatives for Avril are saying that she will NOT be featured on Lil Wayne's album, and they have NO COMMENT whether or not Slash and Avril will be working together.
UPDATE 2: Slash took to his Twitter and wrote, “I am not working w/Avril Lavigne.”
UPDATE 3: Our source who told us the original information has now clarified himself by saying, "Avril is looking to cover a track from Slash / Guns N' Roses on her new album."
