Paramore singer, Hayley Williams (age 20) and her boyfriend, New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert (age 27) are getting married according to a ZackTaylor.ca source that just emailed us!!
Our source says that the two got engaged over the weekend in Nashville and that Hayley was telling her friends that her and Chad were hoping to have a huge wedding in Franklin sometime in 2011 when they both can take a break from touring.
This will be the second marriage for Chad... He was married to Sherri DuPree for a short time but split with her back in 2007.
Congrats to both Hayley and Chad if this is indeed true... I still think she's a little too young to get married, but who am I to judge?!
UPDATE 1: Our source says Chad asked her to marry him on Valentine's Day, but they both agreed they should wait a couple years before walking down the aisle. Hayley supposedly confirmed the news to her friends in Nashville over the weekend.
UPDATE 2: Hayley has taken to her official blog and said,
"Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday. Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dream - i had no idea i was engaged! i'm so happy for myself! in case you guys have seen the post floating around the interweb, i just wanted to state for the record that chad and i are not engaged. haha i feel so ridiculous posting about this... but hopefully i'm posting enough in advance that most of you haven't even heard all this, yet. ooh lordy. so, now you've heard it here... the rumors are not true... thank you and goodnight!!!"
