OLYMPIC CHAMP TESTS POSITIVE FOR HAVING A SMALL PENIS!!

Olympic 400 metres champ LaShawn Merritt of The United States has been suspended after testing positive for an anabolic steroid contained in an over-the-counter penis enlargement product!!

The 23-year-old American had this to say earlier today...

"To know that I've tested positive as a result of a product that I used for personal reasons is extremely difficult to wrap my hands around. I hope my sponsors, family, friends and the sport itself will forgive me for making such a foolish, immature and egotistical mistake. Any penalty that I may receive for my action will not overshadow the embarrassment and humiliation that I feel inside. I am deeply sorry and hope that other athletes who take these types of over-the-counter products will be even more cautious and read the fine print, because if it can happen to me, it could happen to you."

Nicole Johnson was crowned Miss California USA 2010 last weekend and now news is breaking that she got cheated on back in 2007 by none other than Michael Phelps!!

According to some reports, Phelps and Johnson broke-up because of former Miss California, Carrie Prejean - People are saying Phelps cheated on Johnson with Carrie and when she started bragging to everyone about it, Johnson dumped him!!

No way he would cheat!! Maybe he should just stick to nice Canadian girls like Ashley Finestone?!

SHAWN JOHNSON WINS AN AWARD!!

Olympic gold medalist and Dancing With The Stars' contestant, Shawn Johnson has a title no other American female gymnast has ever had - The Sullivan Award!!

Johnson beat out teammate Nastia Liukin and several others last night to win the awards for the country's top amateur athlete... She's only the third gymnast to win it, and the first female after Kurt Thomas (1979) and Paul Hamm (2004).

Congrats!!

This is gonna hurt - Michael Phelps was suspended from competition for three months by USA Swimming AND in the same day Kellogg Co. announced it wouldn't renew its sponsorship contract with him at the end of the year!!

Demi and Ashton were spotted treating Michael to drinks at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont late last month, and The National Enquirer is now reporting,

“It was all part of Demi and Ashton’s effort to get Michael to sign with them for a reality show. Demi was in business mode and making sure Michael knew she was serious about working with him... Ashton sees a Phelps reality show as a breakout hit.”

The proposed unscripted program will feature the 23-year-old Baltimore native as he goes about his daily life as a freshly-minted sports icon... Sounds more fun than The Hills!!

They have been named the best all-time beach volleyball team... After the match, they told reporters that they both want to have babies now and want to train a new "team of the future"!!

Jamaica's Usain Bolt rewrote the record books again and captured his first Olympic medal earlier today, running the 100-meter dash in 9.69 seconds for a blowout win that could have been even worse... The Jamaican took a huge lead halfway through the race, then held his arms out, pounded his chest and started celebrating 10 strides before he reached the finish line... He now holds the title as the World's Fastest Man!!

Canadian, Donovan Bailey (pictured above with me) who won the 100m gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in a world-record 9.84 seconds, predicted before the race earlier that Bolt would win by a landslide!!

CANADA ON THE BOARD WITH 3 MEDALS!!

Canada's medal drought in Beijing is over finally!! We got a medal of each colour in just under an hour yesterday... Freestyle wrestler, Carol Huynh won the women's 48-kilogram final about 20 minutes after rowers Dave Calder and Scott Frandsen finished second in the men's pair... About 25 minutes after Huynh's win, fellow wrestler Tonya Verbeek claimed bronze in the 55-kilogram event!!

Michael Phelps still has more medals than all of Canada - But hey, it's a start right?!

MICHAEL PHELPS TIES MARK SPITZ!!

Michael Phelps has finally tied Mark Spitz's record of 7 gold medals in an Olympic Games by winning last night by the narrowest of margins in the 100-metre butterfly... He got his hands on the wall a hundredth of a second ahead of Cavic - a finish so close the Serbians filed a protest and swimming's governing body had to review the tape down to the 10-thousandth of a second... Phelps came up on top!!

The 23-year-old from Baltimore has now pulled even with the greatest of Olympic records, matching Spitz's performance in the 1972 Munich Games, and he still has 1 more event to go to BEAT the record!!

Spitz told The Associated Press from Detroit, "One word: epic... It goes to show you that not only is this guy the greatest swimmer of all time and the greatest Olympian of all time, he's maybe the greatest athlete of all time. He's the greatest racer who ever walked the planet."

I couldn't agree more!!
