Is there a picture or a very reliable source that they were really seen together?
Michelle did a movie with Ryan, perhaps they are just good friends.
Matila (Michelle's baby girl) was born in Brooklyn, perhaps Michelle just enjoy Brooklyn and Ryan was in NY at the time and decided to get in touch again? Unless there is a reliable source or picture, which is even better...then I will believe that they are together, but since there is not, it'll be hard to believe that they ARE getting together.
